1. Sign Up on MyCamper

Click on the "Sign up now" button under the section "Become an owner." Enter your name, email address, and create a password. You are then ready to create your vehicle profile.

After setting up your account, create a vehicle profile by providing:

  • Basic details of the vehicle
  • List of equipment included
  • Upload high-quality photos
  • Insurance information
  • A detailed description of the vehicle
  • Choose your preferred booking method, set rental rules, cancellation policy, and pricing.

Once all details are complete, you can publish your vehicle. Even after publishing, you can still update and modify your vehicle profile.

2. Receive Booking Requests

After publishing, your vehicle will be available for rent.

You can block out dates you don’t want to rent out your vehicle.

You will start receiving booking requests from verified users.

Renters will send a request for specific dates, and you can communicate with them through the platform's messaging system.

Difference Between Instant Booking and Booking Request

Booking Request:

The renter sends a request for specific dates.

You have 24 hours to accept or decline the request.

If you accept, the booking is confirmed, and the renter makes the down payment.

The remaining rental fee must be paid no later than 30 days before the rental starts.

If you don’t respond within 24 hours, the request expires, negatively affecting your response rate and search ranking.

Instant Booking:

With this option, renters can book your vehicle without waiting for your approval.

The booking is automatically confirmed once the renter completes the payment.

This can increase your chances of receiving bookings since it removes the waiting time for approval.

You don’t need to manually accept or reject requests, but you can still set rules and availability to control who can book your vehicle.

By offering Instant Booking, you make it easier for renters to confirm their trip quickly, whereas Booking Requests allow you to review each request individually before committing.
