During the rental period, it is the renter's responsibility to pay for costs that arise. This includes, among other things, parking fines, speeding fines, road and bridge tolls, or damages to the vehicle. However, the renter cannot be held responsible for damage caused by wear and tear (e.g., engine, brakes, times).
Fines and fees issued during the rental period:
Fines or fees that arise during the rental period but are only received after the booking has been completed can still be addressed. The owner can report these to MyCamper even after the check-out has taken place. MyCamper will then charge the renter for the applicable fees and transfer the amount to the owner once payment from the renter has been received.
Post-booking costs (Deposit already refunded) :
If fines, tolls, or other charges are discovered after the rental period and the deposit was already refunded, it is the owner’s responsibility to contact the renter directly to claim the outstanding amount.
